Now oppo is going to the next level and developing its own mobile chip for its smartphones like Samsung, Apple, and Huawei. It will be called the Oppo M1 chip. It will be used to drive future Oppo smartphones. According to GSMARENA Report, This is indeed happening.
Oppo has filed a trademark in Europe. It is still unclear what the ‘M’ stands for exactly, possibly ‘M1’ refers to the first Mobile processor from Oppo. Another possibility is that the ‘M’ stands for a multi-processor. It is still unclear how far Oppo is developing its own chipset.
People familiar with the matter say that Oppo has hired engineers from Mediatek and Speadtrum to work on it’s Mobile Chip. and Company will reveal more about the chip next year during 2020’s MWC.b But about there is not any official confirmation about this report.
