Redmi 8A Dual now gets MIUI 12 update in India

Xiaomi has begun rolling out MIUI 12 skin for Redmi 8A Dual in India, the new update adds a new Swipe down from the upper left corner to open the Notification shade and from the upper right corner to the open -Control center.

The new MIUI 12 update brings new Privacy protection, optimizes Dark mode, control center, full-screen gestures, and more. It also brings January 2021 security patch update.

it comes on firmware version V12.0.1.0.QCQINXM on Android 10, the update is rolling out via OTA for Redmi 8 global users. You should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the Updater app, otherwise, you can download the ROM packages in this thread below.
