Realme C2 May 2020 update improves security and fixes some known issues

When buying a new smartphone, a theme that is certainly close to the heart is that of updates by the brand as well as those related to the safety of the device through an injection of patches released by Google itself. Among the brands that are providing evidence of attention to this theme, we find Realme which recently provided for the release of an update relating to its glorious Realme C2, effectively updating the security patches in May 2020.

Realme C2 is, in fact, the last budget-range smartphone to receive the May 2020 patches, becoming the reference point for monthly updates on tech security. The update is already available globally and can be downloaded via OTA, which if you have not yet received it, you can try to force by manually searching for the update through the appropriate section in the update menu.

Realme C2 become the first device to get May 2020 security patch. The update fixes some known issues and improves system stability and it is rolling out on build number RMX1941EX_11.A.25. In addition Realme, C2 will get Realme UI V1.0 based on Android 10 update in Quarter 3. So stay tuned…

Note: In order to ensure the stability of this update, it will have a staged rollout. The update will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.
