Recently Indian govt. banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok. Instagram is reportedly testing its TikTok alternative platform in India. According to the BGR news report, the company is looking to take advantage of TikTok’s ban in India. Not only Instagram but also so many other companies also want to take advantage of the TikTok ban.
The news feature name is Reels and It is available on the Instagram platform. The feature is only available to select a set of Instagram users for testing in India right now, but very soon it is also available for all users.
It is not officially confirmed to launch this feature in India. But according to Report, the company said the feature is rolling out to more countries.
