In pursuit of increasing the speed of “refueling” smartphones, their creators are gradually increasing the performance of their power supplies. OPPO filed another application for a record in this area – the company announced a new technology for fast charging, the power of which will be 125 watts.
A short animation published on the Oppo’s official Twitter blog announces the upcoming announcement, which will take place the day after tomorrow, July 15th. The manufacturer does not disclose the design of the new generation power supply and the list of supported devices. According to rumors, the speed of a full charge of the smartphone with the help of new technology will exceed the performance of Xiaomi’s 100-watt solution, which completely restores the battery capacity to 4000mAh in 17 minutes.
Previously, OPPO has already introduced one of the most productive mass technologies on the market under the name SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charging, providing a 65W charging output. The first device to get it out of the box was the OPPO Reno Ace. The appearance of the sale of gadgets with support for 125-watt chargers is expected before the end of this year.
