[Updated- C.31] OPPO Reno2 Z gets July 2020 security update with new swipe-up gestures features

OPPO is pushing another software update for Reno2 Z  now will be addressed in C.31 Update and hence those who have already updated to CPH1945EX_11_C.27 will also receive the bug fix package CPH1945EX_11_C.31.

A few days ago Reno2 F received July 2020 update and today OPPO Reno2 Z users are receiving the same update, the new update brings the Android July 2020 security patch update and adds new swipe gestures features.

The latest update added the “Rotate the guide bars with a screen” switch for “Swipe-up gestures”. When this switch is on and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the longer edge of the screen to exit the current screen. When this switch is off and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the shorter edge of the screen to exit the current screen. (This switch is on by default. You can turn it off by going to “Settings – Convenience tools Navigation buttons – Swipe-up gestures”.)

It also optimizes the 07 filters for portrait mode and improved the selfie shooting experience. And fixed an issue with the emergency call as well as an issue where phone calls would occasionally be dropped.

The new update comes on build number CPH1945EX_11_C.27 for Reno2 Z. And the update rolling out on ColorOS 7 Android 10 users. The size of the update is 656MB.
