OPPO F9 and F9 Pro receiving July 2020 security update with a new feature

Today Oppo is rolling July 2020 update for Oppo F9 and F9 Pro users on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. The update brings the Android July 2020 security patch and new swipe gestures.

The latest update added the “Rotate the guide bars with a screen” switch for “Swipe-up gestures”. When this switch is on and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the longer edge of the screen to exit the current screen. When this switch is off and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the shorter edge of the screen to exit the current screen. (This switch is on by default. You can turn it off by going to “Settings – Convenience tools Navigation buttons – Swipe-up gestures”.).

The update comes with build number CPH1823EX_11_F.11 or CPH1881EX_11_F.11 for the global variant and weight is 366MB only.
