Samsung is getting ready to show off the next version of One UI. The Android 11-based One UI 3.0 public beta is now live. One UI is Samsung’s own user interface based on Android that is loved by millions worldwide. It is one of the most popular custom ROMs for Android lovers. One UI includes various features such as theme support.
As we all know that Samsung is now rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta update for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series in some regions. And it is quite common that it will soon release an Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta update for the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A51 phones.
Samsung has a software policy of no matter what if a phone is a premium or budget, it will receive two major OS upgrades. But then after, these device holders definitely have a question that, “Will Samsung Galaxy A50 And Galaxy A51 phones receive Android 11?” and the answer is, “Yes, both devices are eligible for the Android 11 OS update.”
But, recently Samsung changed its software update policy and according to the new one, the company reinforced its commitment to offering the best mobile experiences possible for Galaxy users by supporting three generations of Android operating system (OS) upgrades on millions of Galaxy devices. As per this policy, the Galaxy A51 exists in its Eligible Galaxy devices list but Galaxy A50 does not.
The Galaxy A50 is the first device in the A50 series and was launched with Android 9 Pie and One UI skin over it. So, as per software policy, the Galaxy A50 may get updated to Android 11 with the latest One UI 3.0.
Time- The Galaxy A50 will receive the Android 11-based One Ui 3.0 update in April 2021.
The Galaxy A51 was launched with Android 10 with One UI 2.1 out of the box. The device will surely get Android 11 with One UI 3.0 as the device hasn’t got a major OS upgrade once and still has two slots left.

One UI 3.0: Galaxy A50/50s/A51 Update Status
February 04 – Samsung has now started rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy A51. The new update brings all the bells and whistles of Android 11 along with One UI 3.0 features to the mid-range smartphone. Until now, no official list is out and few changes may or may not be made to the list. As per the previous software update track record and policy of Samsung, the devices Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A51 will probably get updated between January 2021 and February 2021.
