A new firmware update is now available for Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2. Firstly Europe is receiving this new software update, after that the US region will get it. Both the update leads to improve a specific feature in the wearable.
Samsung is rolling out new firmware to its Galaxy Watch 3 with the version R8xxXXU1BTK1 in Europe and the older Galaxy Watch Active 2 with the version R825USQU1BTJ6 in the US. Definitely, Samsung will expand the availability to more regions in the coming days or weeks.
What’s new in this update:
It brings several new features such as Galaxy Watch 3 has improved Blood Oxygen Monitoring, voice guidance. On The Other Hand, Active 2 Update has improved GPS Performance.
Also, have the following:
- Improved GPS accuracy and connection
- Voice guidance provided via a headset connected to the mobile when exercising with a watch.
- Voice guidance provided for traveled distance and HR data, when Auto Lap feature is enabled during Running/Cycling.
- Improved system stability and reliability
