Xiaomi is expanding MIUI 12 skin for Redmi 9 in various regions, and it continuously provides an update to improve the stability of this skin, now the company is providing December 2020 security patch update for Indian Redmi 9 users.
Unfortunately, the changelog isn’t mentioned any new feature except December 2020 security, the update bumping overt the air with firmware version V12.0.5.0.QCTINXM based on Android 10.
You should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the Updater app, otherwise, you can download the ROM packages in this thread below.
