Chinese smartphone makers Xiaomi, Realme, Nokia, and OPPO have already revealed the Android 11 beta roadmap. Unfortunately, this cannot be said for Vivo as the OEM has shared the list of eligible phones and the rollout schedule for Funtouch OS 11 only now.
With next-generation, FuntouchOS 11 brings the latest UI design, Colorful Always-on display, new desktop icons, new enhanced dark mode, new live wallpapers, a New Jovi section, and several customization options.
Additionally, the company has announced OriginOS as its new skin for smartphones in China. Vivo is currently running an Android 11 based OriginOS open beta program in its home country China. But for India, its devices will be updated to Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11 instead.
Today, Vivo officially shared the Android 11 based FuntouchOS 11 roadmap/timeline/schedule for some Vivo smartphone in India.
