Xiaomi pushing a new software update for Mi 10 smartphones in India. The latest update brings the Android 11 Based October 2020 security patch that increased the system security and stability of the smartphone.

The update comes with the build Version MIUI V12.2.2.0.RJBINXM. Xiaomi Mi 10 users must check for updates manually in the setting if they haven’t already received a notification.

This update is a limited release for Mi Pilot testers, which means that the update process might take longer than usual. Expect heating and other performance issues after you update – it might take some time for your device to adapt to the new version. Remember that some third-party apps aren’t yet compatible with Android R and you might not be able to use them normally.

Xiaomi publishes MIUI October 2020 Security patch update for Mi 10 users in China. The update comes on Android 11 with MIUI version Stable V12.2.2.0.RJBCNXM, the updates were rolling out via OTA for Android 11 users.

According to the changelog, the latest update on MIUI 12.2.2.0 comes with several newly added features for Security, Super document and Camera upgrade such as – floating function panel, Import PDF, Screen-casting, Thumbnail, VLOG mode, AI watermarks, also optimize the following – runtime storage space, recording mode 8K video function, zoom magnification, and many more.
