Xiaomi is rolling out a new MIUI update for Redmi 9A Turkey users, it brings the Android January 2021 security patch update and bumps on MIUI version number V12.0.3.0.QCDTRXM based on Android 10.

Xiaomi is publishing the new MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 9A Chinese variant. It brings the January 2021 security patch and it rolls out over the air, you can download go into settings, software updates, install & download it.

Redmi 9A January 2021 update comes on MIUI V12.0.6.0.QCDCNXM based on Android 10. It can be downloaded via OTA, which if you have not yet received it, you can try to force by manually searching for the update through the appropriate section in the update menu.

Redmi 9A starts getting the Android January 2021 security patch update in Russia, the update rolls out over the air, you can download go into settings, software updates, install & download it.

The update comes on MIUI version V12.0.7.0.QCDRUXM based on Google’s Android version 10.0. Unfortunately, the version of the operating system remains unchanged, anchoring to Android 10. Furthermore, the changelog does not report any other mention of particular changes and/or additions, except for the security patches of January 2021.

Xiaomi is expanding the latest January 2021 security patch update for Redmi 9A / 9AT. Currently, the company starts rolling out the January patch in the Europen market for the device with firmware version V12.0.10.0.QCDEUXM based on Android 10.

When buying a new smartphone, a theme that is certainly close to the heart is that of updates by the brand as well as those related to the safety of the device through an injection of patches released by Google itself.

Among the brands that are providing evidence of attention to this theme, we find Xiaomi which recently provided for the release of an update relating to its budget Poco C3 and Redmi 9A, effectively updating the security patches in January 2021, even before the Google Pixel series smartphones.

Poco C3 and Redmi 9A are, in fact, the first smartphone to receive the January 2021 patches, becoming the reference point for monthly updates on tech security.

The update is already available in India and can be downloaded via OTA, which if you have not yet received it, you can try to force by manually searching for the update through the appropriate section in the update menu.
