Huawei has begun rolling out a new EMUI firmware update for the Huawei Nova 5T. The latest update brings the January 2021 security patch update for better system security with an update size of 134MB. Sadly there is no other feature mentioned in the changelog.
According to the latest information, the January 2021 update comes with EMUI version 10.1.0.310. And the Huawei Nova 5T users will get an EMUI 11 updates in the first quarter of 2021 as per the official roadmap.

The updates that it sends out include patches from both Google and itself. All of the patches included in the Android Security Bulletin for January 2021 are therefore included in this release. It includes 4 Critical, 25 High levels, and 1 Medium level.
You should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the HiCare app, or you can manually check for the update, go to System > Software update > Check for updates.
