[Updated] Redmi 9C/NFC is receiving January 2021 update in more region

Xiaomi releases the January 2021 security patch update for the Redmi 9C NFC variant. It improves device security and optimizes system performance. The update is rolling out for Global, European, and Russian units with firmware version V12.0.6.0.QCS**XM.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi continuously to provide a monthly update and also expand in various region. Now Redmi 9C users start getting the January 2021 security patch in Turkey and Indonesia on the firmware version V12.0.5.0.QCRTRXM, and V12.0.6.0.QCRIDXM.

Xiaomi is a well-known smartphone company providing lots of features to users at a very low rate. Also keeps its users up to date with monthly software updates.

Xiaomi is rolling out software updates for Redmi 9C device in the Global and European regions. The new update brings January 2021 security patch update.

The new update comes on build numbers V12.0.10.0.QCRMIXM and V12.0.6.0.QCREUXM respectively, which is based on Android 10 with MIUI.

The update is in the ‘Stable fastboot’ phase, and therefore, it is only available for select users. But it should be soon available for all the users if there aren’t any significant issues with the build.
