In 2019, Xiaomi launched Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro in India. The Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Redmi K20 has a Snapdragon 730 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM along with up to 256GB storage. The smartphone features a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
The Redmi K20 comes with a 4,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging. It has a triple rear camera setup at the back, with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
Today the device is receiving a new software update on MIUI 12, the latest update comes on software version V12.0.7.0.QFJINXM based on Android 10 and it brings the January 2021 security patch to India.
Unfortunately, the update didn’t add any other feature on this update it only improves the device security in January 2021. It is rolling out via OTA so you can download head to settings then go into software update now you can download & install.
