POCO M2 Pro gets MIUI V12.0.3 with February 2021 security update in India

Xiaomi is rolling out the Android February 2021 security patch update for POCO M2 Pro Indian users. Sadly the update does not bring any additional features or bug fixes apart from increased system security to the device.

Poco M2 Pro February 2021 update firmware version carries MIUI V12.0.3.0.QJPINXM based on Android 10 and size 3.0GB. The update now just has partially started for beta testers so a broader rollout is available in the coming days.

The POCO M2 Pro is almost identical to the Redmi Note 9 in specs and design, but brings in some upgrades like faster 33W charging and enhanced software. It runs MIUI 12 but doesn’t come with ads in the interface and offers an app drawer thanks to the use of the POCO Launcher.

The Snapdragon 720G offers good performance for gaming and multi-tasking, while the battery is enough to easily last a day and a half. Unfortunately, the POCO M2 Pro misses out on a 90Hz refresh rate, which you can find on competing devices like the Realme 6.
