[China Too] March 2021 security patch begins rolling out for Realme X7 5G

Realme is now rolling out March 2021 security patch update for Realme X7 5G smartphone in China. It comes on build number RMX2175_11_A.30 on Realme UI 1.0. The update has already rolled out in India.

Realme X7 5G is running on Realme UI 1.0 skin and it is eligible for version 2.0. Recently the brand has finally revealed when the handsets will be updated to Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.

The Realme X7 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC which is quite new and likely to become popular. According to the updated Realme UI 2.0 update timeline, the device will start receiving Android 11 beta builds only in quarter 2nd. It means in May 2021.

Today the company is rolling out a new software update for Realme X7 5G users in India, this is the second update after lanch. It brings March 2021 security patch along with fixes. The firmware comes in RMX2176PU_11_A.16.

The new update optimized the slow focus issue in some scenarios, the lagging issue when opening Recent Apps from Home, the network stability, and the system stability.
