According to a report by Live Mint Mahendra Nerurkar (Amazon Pay India director and chief executive) said that Amazon Pay will soon offer its new remuneration service that will fit the market for Kirana (grocery) stores. It will be available on its commercial app. Under this app, Amazon Pay will launch small loans and insurance facilities for grocery stores.
Additionally, it also provides the facility to generate QR codes in which Offline merchant partners will be able to create their own QR codes using the Amazon Pay app.
How to Apply Amazon Pay loan for Kirana shops
Currently, the company declares that under its payments and financial services arm they signed up with approx 5 million merchants. and soon it will present another bunch of payments and financial services arm for signing.
Also, Amazon Pay India director Mr. Nerurkar also stated that the digitization of cash and its credit offering will be enhanced. The company is doing this because credit is part of our financial strength. It helps us to get the things we need right now. And with this facility credit will allow customers to consume more and the digitization of cash will allow the company to provide more services to customers later.
