This year OPPO announced two new Reno series smartphones Oppo Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro in the global market. The Reno 5 Pro comes with 5G support and the non-pro supports 4G only. Oppo Reno 5 4G comes with a 6.4″ 90Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED screen, 64MP quad-camera setup, 44MP selfie camera, and a 4,350 mAh battery with 65W charging, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Now the company is rolling out a new software update for the Reno 5 4G device. It brings the Android April 2021 security patch and it also improves the system stability and performance.
OPPO Reno 5 4G new update build comes with version number CPH2159_11_A.25 and a download package of around 738MB. The update comes on the company’s latest skin ColorOS 11.1 based on the Android 11 update.
