Breaking: Realme 7i starts receiving stable Realme UI 2.0 update with Android 11

Realme 7i debuted with the Realme UI based on Android 10. Although it has been launched for over 9 months, the Chinese brand’s mid-rangers are getting the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update in India,

The latest Realme UI 2.0 brings new UI and features to both smartphones, including three Dark Mode styles, Optimized Night Charging, Tone Tunes, and Sleep Capsule. Realme UI 2.0’s changelog is the same as before.

It’s worth noting, though, that this stable update is only rolling out to those who were not a part of the Open Beta program, as Realme says it already released the latest build for Open Beta users.

The Android 11 update for the Realme 7i carries the build number RMX2103_11_C.05, with an 801MB package size for those who were using the trial version. And nonbeta will get 3.5GB.

The roll-out is released in batches and will reach you very soon, kindly wait for it. Also to receive this update, please make sure your device is updated to the required version RMX2103_11_A.41.

If you own the Realme 7i smartphone and live in India, so you can check the software update, Just tap on the Settings menu > Software Update > If available for your region, tap on Download and Install.

    • You can now turn “App lock” on or off in Quick Settings.
    • Added “Low battery message”: When your phone battery is lower than 15%, you can quickly send a message to share your location with specified people.
    • More powerful SOS functions
    • Emergency info: You can quickly display your personal emergency info to first responders. The information can be shown even when your screen is locked.
    • Optimized “Permission manager”: You can now choose “Allow only once” for sensitive permissions to better protect your privacy.

    • Added Immersive mode which reduces disturbances while gaming so you can stay focused.
    • You can change the way to summon Game Assistant.
  • Communications
    • You can share your personal hotspot with others via a QR code.

    • Optimized the photo editing feature with upgraded algorithms and more markup effects and filters.
  • HeyTap Cloud
    • You can back up your photos, documents, system settings, WeChat data, and more, and easily migrate to a new phone.
    • You can select the types of data to be backed up or restored.

    • Added shortcuts to instantly share and edit photos or videos you just took.
    • Added the inertial zoom feature which makes zooming smoother during video shooting.
    • Added the level and grid feature to help you compose videos.
