Realme X50 Pro getting June 2021 security update with fixes Camera, status bar, more

Realme has started pushing out the June 2021 security update to its smartphones. The update was first rolled out to the company’s mid-range smartphone, the Realme X7 Pro. Now the update hits the Realme X50 Pro in India.

The new software of the Realme X50 Pro, which has firmware version RMX2076PU_11_C.20, brings the June 2021 security patch to the smartphone. It includes dozens of fixes for high and moderate-risk vulnerabilities in settings, cameras, status bars, systems, and more.

The official changelog mentions that the update fixes an issue where photos taken in Ultra NightScape mode might be tinted with green. It also an issue where the system might occasionally crash and restart after you add too many Wi-Fi connections, Contacts app might be opened during file transfers in some cases, an issue where you might be unable to tap the “Global Search” widget after switching the system language, and fixes various security vulnerabilities. As usual, the new update comes with bug fixes and stability improvements.

If you are a Realme X50 Pro, and if you haven’t received a notification for this update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
