[Rolling out for all users] Realme 3 Pro gets Realme UI 2.0 stable update with Android 11 OS

Updated: Finally, Realme has started rolling out Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 skin update for Realme 3 Pro users, the update is now available for all users, previously it was rolled out for beta testers.

Realme 3 Pro Realme UI 2.0 stable Update

The update brings several fixes including, Wireless, camera, system UI, and Apps. The update also carries the August 2021 security patch update. It comes on build number RMX1851EX_11_F.05.

    • Optimizes system performance and improves system stability.
  • Wireless
    • Boosts Wi-Fi performance with stronger signal across Wi-Fi channels.
  • Camera
    • Fixes an issue that might cause the Camera app to freeze when using the rear camera in Portrait mode.
    • Fixes an issue where the Camera app might freeze when you switch to the front camera, turn on flashlight, and then switch to another shooting mode.
    • Fixes an issue where the Camera app might stutter when taking burst photos in bright light outdoors.
  • realme UI
    • Fixes an issue where the search box and the navigation buttons might overlap in Guest mode.
    • Fixes an issue where apps might appear in the wrong place in the Recents screen when you switch to the Recents screen from Split screen view.
  • Apps
    • Fixes an issue that might cause ambient sound to disappear when you turn voice chat on and then off in games.
  • Security
    • Integrates the August 2021 Android security patch to enhance system security.

This is barking news, Realme has started pushing stable Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update for Realme 3 Pro in India. The screenshot confirmed the official version of Realme UI 2.0 with build number RMX1851EX_11_F.03. And the update size is 150MB.

Currently, the update is rolling out for early access users and Realme will soon expand to publicly. If you are using Realme UI 2.0 beta so you can check the update via going into Settings> Software Updates> Download.

Realme has started rolling out early access of Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 beta for Realme 3 Pro smartphone users of India. It is important to note that there are a limited number of slots available for the early access program.

Apart from this, Realme has also mentioned a few things that one should keep in mind before enrolling in the early access or open beta program.

Make sure – Update your device to the required UI version→ RMX1851EX_11_C.17. Take a complete backup of the smartphone and personal data to prevent data loss in case something goes wrong. There can be compatibility issues with Android 11 that may lead to random crashes. These are early access software and there can be several bugs and stability issues. At least 60+% battery and 5GB of free space are necessary before proceeding with the update. Install the latest version update based on the smartphone.

The next-gen software iteration for Realme smartphones carries Global Theme Colour, AOD (always on display) and Dark Mode improvements, and Icon and Font customizations. It carries a Floating Window feature to allow users to operate multiple apps simultaneously.

How to apply for early access Realme UI 2.0 beta

  1. Go to Settings, access Software update
  2. Here, tap on the Settings icon to the top-right, and tap on the Trial version
  3. Tap on Realme UI 2.0 early access, which will show up if slots are available
  4. If it is, submit your phone number or email address linked to your Realme ID
  5. Agree to the Terms & Conditions, and tap on ‘Apply now’
  6. Once the ‘Success’ prompt is showed, tap on ‘Finish’
