The PM-KISANscheme aims to supplement the financial needs of the SMFs in procuring various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields, commensurate with the anticipated farm income at the end of each crop cycle. This would also protect them from falling into the clutches of moneylenders for meeting such expenses and ensure their continuance in farming activities. The Indian Govt is planning to release the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM Kisan), so far 10,34,32,471 people have benefited from this scheme. In the same period last year, 10,49,20,156 farmers had received Rs 2 thousand each. In the same May, PM Narendra Modi released the 8th installment. Under this, 2000 -2000 i.e. 20,000 crores were released in the accounts of 9.5 crore farmers. Now the 9th installment will be released in August.
The last installment had released on 2-4 July 2021 by PM Narendra Modi Ji on video conferencing. Approximately ten thousand farmers benefited from it all over India.

- Here, you have to see the option to check your installment status.
- You have to need one of them Adhar card number, Mobile Number, or Bank account number.

Benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
Under the Scheme, direct payment of Rs. 6000 per year will be transferred in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each every four months into the Aadhar ceded bank accounts of eligible landholding SMFs families.

How to register for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
Farmers have to approach the local revenue officer (patwari) or a nodal officer (nominated by the state government). The Common Service Centres (CSCs) have also been authorized to do the registration of the farmers for the Scheme upon payment of fees.
