OPPO has begun rolling out the latest security patch update for its smartphones, recently, the company has rolled out the security patch for the month of August 2021 with new updates to OPPO F11 and Find X2.
OPPO A52 August 2021 Security Update
And now this update is coming for OPPO A series in which OPPO A52 becomes the first A-series smartphone to get this update and it adds a new feature with this update – RAM Expansion. This feature can borrow additional space from storage and allot it to RAM, to ensure a seamless performance. In other words, the smartphone will borrow some storage space and use it for RAM functions.
Note: You can now convert part of the storage into RAM to improve system performance by going to “Settings – About phone – RAM”. (Only available on phone models with internal storage of 128 GB or higher.)
Additionally, the update fixes an issue where you could not turn on the Personal hotspot in some scenarios and brings Android August 2021 security patch for OPPO A52.
Like any other OTA system update, the ColorOS 11.1 build CPH2061_11_C.32 for the OPPO A52 is being rolled out in batches. Therefore, it may take some time to reach every user. The update size is 869MB.
