Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is now rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for Poco M3 users, the update is based on Android 11 OS. The update is arriving with build number MIUI V12.5.2.0.RJFEUXM in Europe and weighs 2.1GB in size.

The latest MIUI 12.5 update for Poco M3 brings a lot of improvements including improved rendering power – claimed to provide 20 times more rendering power for the system – instant response to gestures and improved system security. With this update, the Notes app has also been refreshed with new tools for doodling and sketching and support for dynamic layouts.

The new MIUI 12.5 skin is using ‘MIUI Light Cone Motion Effect Architecture’ compared to MIUI 12. The new MIUI 12.5 has a new set of Super Wallpapers: Snow Mountain from Mount Siguniang, Shipwreck Bay in Greece (Navagio Beach), and Blade’s Edge Mountain in Italy. With MIUI 12.5, the company is also focusing more on privacy. There’s Clipboard Protection, File Storage (Sandbox Mechanism), and Browser. Location (Fuzzy Positioning) now has special mentions. Xiaomi App Store from MIUI 12.5 has special instructions for privacy including risks, avoiding malicious content, and security tampering.
