OPPO has started rolling out the September 2021 security patch update for its handful of smartphones, now the OPPO A53 joins the party. The new update comes on build number CPH2127_11_C.16 for global units and the update size is 599MB.

OPPO A53 is receiving an Android 2021 September 2021 security patch on ColorOS 11.1 with fixes an issue with the USB connection when the phone is in optimized night charging mode and improves system performance for certain scenarios.
