“The 1.6.5 Update is coming this October! Here’s a preview for the update, don’t miss out on all the fun and action!” Krafton wrote on its official Instagram page.
This update is expected to arrive this week of the month. It will feature many old modes like Runic Power, Zombie mode, Payload 2.0, and Infection mode.

BGMI 1.6.5 Modes:
Runic Power mode
The highlight of the update is Runic Power mode is in the classic section. In this, Players can choose one of the runes- Wind, Flame, and the Ice in the spawn island, collect runic crystals to perform the special abilities.
The Wind rune has two powers:
- Wind Shelter
- Wind Boost
Meanwhile, Flame rune offers Magma Wheel and Scorching Ammo power. As for the Ice Rune, players will get Ice Wall and Freezing Ammo power.
Survive Till Dawn
This mode will be made available for the players from 22nd Oct’21. The mode brings zombies to the Erangle map and players have to fight each other along with defeating zombies as soon as the night hits the map. Defeating zombies and zombie bosses will drop items like weapons, health items, ammo, etc.
Virus Infection – Halloween
It is available for the players from 31st Oct’21. The Virus infection mode has 3 round battles and players randomly get divided into zombies and humans. By the time round ends, the remaining side will be victorious.
Payload 2.0 Mode
It is available for the players from 31st Oct’21. The mode will come with armed cars as well as helicopters along with powerful weapons like AT4-A, Laser Missile, and M202 Quadruple RPG. It’ll also come with features like UAV Control Terminal, Bomb Suit, and Man-Portable radar. The mode also enables players to revive their finished teammates.
