Realme has begun rolling out a new software update for Realme 6 smartphone users. The September 2021 security patch provides the needed updates for Realme’s last year affordable smartphone.

Realme regularly provides Realme UI updates, but the availability of the updates may be affected by variant and region. The current update does not include the Realme UI 3.0 skin which is believed to become operational by 2022. The update comes with the firmware RMX2001_11_C.13 and apart from the September 2021 security patch for users in India, it also brings some improvements.

The actual details of the improvements, bug fixes of Theme Store and Realme Link App, feature additions have not been fully specified at this time.

We expect other regions to follow India subsequently in the availability of the updates. To check if an update is available, navigate to the Settings menu on your device and choose Software updates.
