Today, a few hours back, the developers have posted an apology letter stating a short update announcement as well as a maintenance break in the game. PUBG New State maintenance update: Time and date revealed
Here is what the developers stated on PUBG New State’s official website:
“We want to apologize to our community for the not being able to meet your expectations, both on and off the Battlegrounds, since the global launch on Nov. 11. We know that there were and still are many issues with PUBG: NEW STATE, and these issues have severely impacted your overall experience with our game. Many of you have given us helpful reports and feedback about issues you’ve encountered with the game. Since the launch, we’ve been rigorously looking into the issues our community has voiced, which includes problems related to crashes, freezing, iOS optimization, server stability, and FPS drops.”

PUBG New State maintenance break and the update will take place on November 18, 2021.
Server Maintenance schedule: 2:00 – 6:00 (UTC+0) (7:30 AM -11:30 AM IST)
The update will mainly focus on connection errors and overall service stabilization. Players will not be able to play the game between the aforementioned scheduled time. They cannot log in to their profiles. They can only play the game after the update is over.
As this is an internalized update, probably there will be no external download required to start the game. Players can play the game normally after 11:30 AM IST.
