The PUBG Mobile Esports season 2021 is coming to an end. On November 30, 2021, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021 will begin. This year’s competition has been divided into two Leagues: West and East. Overall, the prize pool for the tournament is USD 6 million, the most in the history of PUBG Mobile Esports.

PMGC 2021 Format: West League
There are 40 teams competing in this year’s Global Championship. The PMGC 2021: West League consists of 20 clubs from the Western regions (i.e., Americas and Europe). These teams qualified for the renowned global championship through a series of regional competitions across America and Europe.
The Western portion of the League Stage will last four weeks and has been broken into two stages. But let’s check out the list of teams first.

PMGC 2021 detailed format
Stage 1) League Stage (West):
The Western league stage, like the Eastern league stage, will begin on November 30 and end on December 19, 2021. The 20 participating teams were sorted into five groups (A-E) today via a group draw using a random pick-up procedure on a unique group-draw stream.
The event will include three weeks of Weekdays and SuperWeekends, with the former taking place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the latter taking place each week from Friday through Sunday. The top 16 teams from each Weekday will qualify for the associated SuperWeekend at the end of each week.
The top 16 teams from the overall standings determined from the points of the three SuperWeekends will qualify for the PMGC 2021: League Finals at the end of the three weeks of League competition (West).
Stage 2) League Finals (West):
The PMGC 2021: West League’s 16 eligible clubs will compete in a three-day League Final from December 22 to 24, 2021. Following the conclusion of 18 matches, the top six teams in the overall standings will advance to the event’s Grand Finals.
Grand Finals:
To determine the ultimate champion, the top six teams from the West League, the top nine teams from the East League, and one specially invited team will participate in the PMGC 2021 Grand Finals, which will take place between January 21 and 23, 2022.
