With the recent unveiling of Krafton’s new IP, PUBG New State, the anticipation for the game is growing. The game, which was published on November 11, had a positive reception, with 20 million downloads in only four days.
Previously, the futuristic combat royale title had received 55 million pre-registrations from all around the world, with the exception of China and Vietnam. PUBG New State, on the other hand, just passed the 40 million download mark barely a week after its release.
However, the game also included several updates to get rid of the bugs and glitches. Yesterday, the game had another update, which the devs called the ‘Essential Update’. This patch update also offered a reward for players as compensation.

As the developers posted on the official website,
“An update has been rolled out for Survivors with Android devices. This update must be downloaded through Google Play and the Galaxy Store. You will be prompted to download the update when you launch the game, so make sure to get the latest version before jumping back into the Battlegrounds!“

- Update Release: November 22, 10:00 (UTC+0) 3:30 PM IST
- This update will appear as an optional update until 11:00 (UTC+0). After this time, it will become an essential update, so you will not be able to access the game without downloading this update.
- 3 Chicken Medals will be sent out to all Survivors at 11:00 (UTC+0) as compensation for this update.
- Available Platforms: Google Play Store, Samsung Galaxy Store
- Notice for iOS Survivors: An update for Survivors with iOS devices is currently in the works and will be available for download in the near future!
- Details:
- Implemented the first round of updates to strengthen anti-cheat measures.
