OnePlus 12R key specifications have been leaked by a trusted tipster, along with design renders. The company is expected to unveil its next-gen flagship smartphone under the premium R-series phones in India and other markets next year.
The OnePlus 12R will launch as the successor to the OnePlus 11R 5G, which was launched in India earlier this year with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 OS with several upgrades. However, the company has not confirmed any details about the launch or the device’s specifications officially.
OnePlus 12R Renders:
According to the leaked design renders, the OnePlus 12R 5G will sport a slightly curved display on the front, just like the OnePlus 11R. OnePlus 12R’s display has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The bezels are also quite thin, including the chin around the display.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 12R 5G will follow the same strategy as the 11R 5G for its back design. The triple-camera setup and an LED flash module sit inside a square-ish camera island that seamlessly merges into the side frame.
As usual, the 12R 5G houses the volume rocker on the left edge. Plus, the iconic alert slider is on the right edge, with the power button below it. We can also see a USB Type-C port, a microphone cutout, and a speaker grille on the bottom edge.

The OnePlus 12R will be powered by the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is currently Qualcomm’s top-tier flagship smartphone SoC. The processor will be coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage based on the faster UFS 4.0 standard.
Moreover, the phone may come pre-loaded with Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 software, which will bring the latest and innovative features of the new OS.
Display and Camera
Further, it may bring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 12R sports a versatile triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto. It will come with 3X optical zoom and more interesting features. For selfies, it will have a 16MP front camera.
Battery & Charging
Lastly comes the 5500mAh battery. The OnePlus 12R is expected to come equipped with a 10 per cent bigger battery than its predecessor. It will support 100W wired charging that will come bundled with the box.
