PUBG New State developers apologize as the December update has not been released yet; Maintenance break continues

Today, at around 5:30 AM IST, PUBG New State servers were taken down to roll out the brand new December patch update. However, to all the player’s dismay, the update has not been released yet and no update is available in any of the play stores. The developers have published an apology notice in regard to this issue.

PUBG New State fans in despair as maintenance break for December update still continues

From 5:30 AM IST onwards today, PUBG New State was taken down because of the maintenance patch update that is going to release today. However, even after 12 hours, there has not been any development. Hence, a couple of hours back the developers posted an apology notice on their official website. Here is what the devs have stated:

“The maintenance has been postponed due to store app review delays. We will provide an update through this notice and on the official social media channels once the maintenance schedule has been fixed. We apologize for the delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.“

It is quite sad that the maintenance period took too long. However, as per the developer’s claim, the issue is at the review approval in Play Stores.  This is what has been written on the official website: “TBA (Upon market review approval)” Which means the release time of the December update is yet to be announced.

Hence there is not much that players can do regarding the update. They need to wait till the official version arrives. Meanwhile, here are the ways via which players can update their game when it arrives:

• [Updating the game through Google Play Store]
  1. Go to [Google Play] -> Search [PUBG: NEW STATE] -> Tap the [Update] button to download the update.
  2. If you encounter issues while updating the game, go to [Settings -> Application -> Google Play Store -> Storage -> Delete Cache].
• [Updating the game through the Galaxy Store]
  1. On the Galaxy Store, search for [PUBG: NEW STATE], then tap the [Update] button to download the update.
  2. From the Galaxy Store home screen, tap [Menu -> Update] and download the update for [PUBG: NEW STATE].
  3. If you encounter issues while updating the game, go to [Settings -> Application -> Galaxy Store -> Storage -> Delete Cache].
• [Updating the game through the App Store]
  1. On the App Store, search for [PUBG: NEW STATE], then tap [Update] to download the update.
  2. Tap the Profile icon or your Profile picture (upper-right), then scroll down to see pending updates. Find [PUBG: NEW STATE] and tap update to download the update.
  3. If the update button is now appearing even after a new version of the app is available, close the App Store and then restart the app.
