OnePlus is rolling out Android December 2021 security patch for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 7 Pro in the US on T-Mobile smartphones users, the changelog doesn’t mention any new features except security patches and system fixes.
OnePlus December 2021 Update – The Latest Security Patch, OxygenOS & ColorOS
The latest December 2021 security patch for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 7 Pro comes on OxygenOS 11.0.6.8.IN55CB and 11.0.1.6.GM31CB respectively. It is available over the air so if you choose not to do so now, the update will take place AUTOMATICALLY between 12 AM and 6 AM starting December 23th, 2021. This will not consume your data. Please do not turn off your device while the update is installed. During Installation you cannot use your device at all, even to dial 9-1-1.
