PUBG New State introduces new weapon and other weapon changes in January update: All you need to know

The January patch update for PUBG New State version 0.9.23 was released a few days back, and the developers posted a lengthy patch note outlining all of the important fixes and changes that will be included in the game.

The patch notes also indicated that the game would be getting a new weapon called the P90. This article contains all of the information that players should be aware of before venturing with the new weapon.

Features

The P90 SMG will spawn in Care Packages on the battleground. This SMG comes with a normal tier-2 transformational sight and a silencer, but it cannot be modified with further attachments. It will fire 5.7mm ammunition, which will be available in the Drone Store as well.

New Gun Customizations and Weapon balance changes

1) DP-28 [C2] Muzzle Slot Acces

With this customization, players will be able to attach a Flash Hider (AR/DMR) or a Compensator (AR/DMR) to the DP-28. However, gun damage will be slightly reduced when using these attachments.

2) Beryl M762 [C2] Lightweight Stock

The Lightweight Stock will reduce bullet spread when firing from the hip or shoulder while increasing ADS speed. However, this customization will reduce weapon stability.

Weapon balance list:

• Weapons
  • The bullet spread of all shotguns and pistols when fired mid-air will be decreased.
  • L85A3: The reload time will be significantly reduced.
• Weapon Customizations
  • M416 [C1]: Bullet spread when firing from the hip and shoulder will be reduced.
  • Beryl M762 [C1]: This customization will no longer decrease bullet speed.
  • M16A4 [C1]: This customization will no longer decrease recoil control.
  • DSR-1 [C1]: This customization will no longer decrease bullet speed. Instead, it will increase vertical recoil.
