Samsung Galaxy A42 5G users can now avail the latest Android 12 based One UI 4.0 software update in the US through carrier Verizon. . Verizon has announced this great news on their official website. This update is available of the users of South Korea as well.

Starting from the last December, Samsung gradually released the latest One UI 4.0 update for Galaxy models like S20 FE LTE, S20 LTE, S20 FE 5G, A52s 5G. Now they are availing it to a other devices as well. As mentioned before, this latest software update is now available for Verizon locked units in the US and South Korea. So it will take some time to reach US unlocked unit as well as global units.

According to the Verizon website, the Android 12 One UI 4.0 update comes with the latest firmware version A426USQU3BUL8. The security patch level would be of December 2021.
