OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro getting January 2022 Security patch on ColorOS 12 with OTA C.41 update

OnePlus has already rolled the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 stable update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Pro in China. After that, the company has also provided new OTA updates for fixing the system-related issues and features.

However, OnePlus is rolling out a new software update for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro, the latest update comes on ColorOS 12 with OTA build C.41 with January 2022 Security Patch. It fixes several system issues including OMOJI, charging animation, notification bar, and optimizes vibration & system performance.

The update also fixes the camera crash issue and the video recording interface is unresponsive in certain scenes.

It is recommended to update your smartphones using a strong Wi-Fi connection while the device is charging. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > System > System updates.

As mentioned earlier, Oneplus will roll out the update in a phased manner. A handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones will receive the update in the next few days.
