Aftermath mode in BGMI 1.8 version: Features, gameplay, and more explained

After a significant delay, Krafton has finally announced the release of the BGMI 1.8 update. The highly anticipated update comes only a few weeks after the developer hinted at the inclusion of a Spider-Man event and the Aftermath mode map.

Players may enjoy Battle Royale action on the new map by downloading the map from the Resources section and going to the Unranked mode. Aftermath mode and its new features in BGMI really set it apart from other gameplay modes.

Features and gameplay details of the Aftermath mode in BGMI

The dimensions of the Aftermath map are the same as those of the Livik map (2×2 km). However, the map now has a future appearance, with structures and cities that have deteriorated due to the wrath of bombs and volcano eruptions. When players arrive on the Aftermath map, they will notice significant alterations in the damaged vicinities.

Because the map is featured in the new Unranked area, BGMI players may enjoy it without worrying about losing points. Furthermore, the Aftermath map’s futuristic feelings are reflected in the growth of science and technology in all fields.

Another new addition to the map is the futuristic Tactical Glasses, which indicate opponent damage when firing at them. This can assist players in better understanding their gunfighting abilities.

Garena Free Fire gamers who have been wishing to try BGMI may now do so, despite the scant parallels between the two games. The new zip line feature, as well as the most recent broad shield feature (evocative of the gloo wall) on the new map, are reminiscent of Free Fire.
