OnePlus 8/ 8 Pro and 8T ColorOS 12 (Android 12) Open/Public Beta Officially Available [How To Register]

OnePlus have repeatedly confirmed that the OnePlus 8/ 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T are moving from HydrogenOS to ColorOS in China. Now we have it on paper, as the designated account for the UI public beta announced on the community is now open, OnePlus users can sign up to get it.

The company is known for releasing ColorOS 12 builds in three different channels namely Closed Beta, Open Beta, and Stable. Today, just a few months after release, the Chinese OEM is now requesting signups for the OnePlus 8 Series Public beta program.

This beta is a follow-up to the early adopter release from January 16th – January 17th at 15:00. In the process, the OnePlus 8 and 8T both of which will get different versions of ColorOS 12 depending on the software integration required.

  2. Like to experience various functions of mobile phones, and willing to try and upgrade;
  3. Be able to accept the instability and incompatibility of the test version;
  4. Use the mobile phone for more than 30 hours per week;
  5. Those who have experience in evaluation and ROM internal testing or developers are preferred;
  6. Have a positive attitude, optimistic and cheerful, seeking common ground while reserving differences;
  7. Perform well on platforms such as the community, and have no violations.
