The Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Beta has already been released for the Realme 8 Pro in December 2021. And the company recently released the second beta update of Android 12, and will soon expand the batch limit in the coming days.
However, Realme is not far away from giving monthly updates as it has started rolling out December 2021 security patches for Realme 8 Pro and it is currently for India and will roll out to all countries later. The changelog is quite small but it fixes an issue where images could not be loaded occasionally in WhatsApp and improve system stability & performance.
The latest update comes on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. And the update is rolling out on build number RMX3081_11_A.45 for Realme 8 Pro in India. Realme hasn’t mentioned the size of these updates, however, it is recommended to update your smartphones using a strong Wi-Fi connection and while the device is charging. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > System updates> Download & Install.

As mentioned earlier, Realme will roll out the update in a phased manner. A handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones will receive the update in the next few days.
