Updated: Realme released an update for Realme GT Neo2 in China, the update brings January 2022 Security Patch update and optimizes several features including a Camera, System, Apps, and the Internet. The Realme GT Neo2 carries build number A.11.

Realme has already released the Realme UI 3.0 early access beta program for Realme GT Neo2 5G along with several smartphones as per roadmap and the Realme X7 5G will get the update Q2 this year.
A few days back the company started rolling out the January 2022 security patch update of Android to its devices and the Realme C20 is the first phone to receive this update. Now the update hits the two 5G smartphones.
Realme is rolling out the Android January 2022 security patch for Realme X7 and Realme GT Neo2 5G smartphones in India, it fixes some system settings and features. And fixes the low probability of flashing green screen issues when playing YouTube videos in GT Neo2.

The latest firmware for the Realme X7 and GT Neo2 comes with versions RMX3092_11_C.09 and RMX3370_11_A.07 respectively. It contains the January 2022 security patch, but Realme is yet to reveal which vulnerabilities are fixed in the new update. As usual, the update might include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

Realme hasn’t mentioned the size of these updates, however, it is recommended to update your smartphones using a strong Wi-Fi connection and while the device is charging. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > System > System updates.
As mentioned earlier, Realme will roll out the update in a phased manner. A handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones will receive the update in the next few days.
