Samsung Galaxy A22 4G gets the January security patch update

South Korean company Samsung started to roll out their latest January 2022 security patch last month and day by day its being available in more regions. First it was only available in the Asian market but now the latest January 2022 security patch is being released in European markets and others.

Now, according to the latest release, this January 2022 security patch update is available for Samsung Galaxy A22 4G! Brazil was the first one to get this update with Galaxy A22 4G model. So it is just a matter of time before Samsung pushes this update for A22 4G in other regions as well. The update comes with a firmware version of A225MUBS3AUL5. The approx size if it is 212 MB and it polishes the over all user experience to a large extent.

This latest security update contains not only Samsung patches, but also Google patches. It includes fifty-two Google fixes and nineteen SVE items in order to improve the overall security and stability of the Galaxy devices. This latest SMR/CVEs fixes a handful of bugs like unprotected dynamic receiver in SecSettings, Improper sanitization of incoming intent in Dressroom, improper check or handling of exceptional conditions in NPU driver, improper authorization in TelephonyManager, incorrect implementation of Knox Guard, etc.
