In layman’s terms, Virtual RAM is a function that allows you to use a piece of your phone’s internal storage as additional RAM, essentially increasing the overall amount of RAM on your smartphone. As the name implies, this is a “virtual” RAM, which means that the amount of extended RAM is not physically present on your smartphone as RAM.

Those who have got the update of Realme UI 3.0 in Realme 7 Pro can expand their phone’s memory up to 5GB. If you have some unused memory from your ROM (128GB), you can virtually move it to increase your RAM.

For example, if you decide to expand RAM by 5.00GB, after selecting this and restarting your phone, your Realme 7 Pro will have 11GB RAM and 123 ROM. Should you need the remaining memory in the future you can turn off the RAM expansion and it will revert back to 6GB RAM 128GB ROM.
