Samsung is going to launch Galaxy S22 Series and Galaxy Tab S8 series in the market. The next Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for February 9, but all the information about the Galaxy Tab S8 series has already been leaked by Evan Blass today. In addition to images of the tablets, he has published the full press release about the Tab S8 tablets. A total of three models will be presented: the Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus, and S8 Ultra.

All three models are powered by a 4nm chip, presumably Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. On the back, we find two cameras: a 13-megapixel camera, a 6-megapixel camera with ultra-wide lenses, and a flash. For video calling and taking selfies, there is a 12-megapixel camera with ultra-wide lenses and on the Ultra it will be accompanied by another 12-megapixel camera, housing the two modules in a notch. The tablets can capture videos in 4k at 30 frames per second and there is support for AKG and Dolby Atmos. Samsung has equipped the models with three microphones to filter out background noise.

The entry-level model has an 11-inch LTPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2500×1600, the Tab S8 Plus has a 12.4-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2800×1752 and the Tab S8 Ultra has a 14 .6-inch screen with a resolution of 2960×1848. The screens will offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smooth scrolling and high frame rate gameplay.

Users can unlock the tablets with a fingerprint sensor. The smallest model has an integrated fingerprint sensor on the side and the other two models have the sensor placed under the screen. The Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus and S8 Ultra will support Wi-Fi 6E and 45-watt fast charging. The Tab S8 Ultra packs an 11,200mAh battery and will only take 90 minutes to fully charge. The Tab S8 comes with an 8,000mAh battery and the Plus model has a 10,090mAh battery; both models require 10 minutes less to be fully charged. In addition, the S8 Plus and S8 Ultra get a new and improved S Pen stylus, which uses an ultra-low latency prediction algorithm.

The RAM options for the smaller models are 8 GB and 12 GB and the storage options are 128 GB and 256 GB. The Ultra will be available in three RAM configurations (8GB/12GB/16GB) and three storage variants (128GB/256GB/512GB). All three products have a MicroSD slot that expands the storage space up to 1 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus, and S8 Ultra will be available for pre-order from February 9th and will hit stores on February 25th.
