Google Chat Let You Add Up To 50K Member To Space, And Developed Member Search

Google Chat has recently gone through rebranding and is now known as “Spaces”. Not only has its name changed, but new features have also been added to it. It gives the ability to the users to host the meetings directly from the chat box. The main and huge amazing improvement that the Google Chats space now allows the user to add up to 50,000 members instead of 8,000.

Related to this change Google through a vlog, stated that this change is a means of increasing and strengthening communication and collaboration among large teams within Google’s work area; this will enhance the experience of chat.

Furthermore, the company is also testing a facility for the users to search the members with full of ease within a space. Now, the users also have the ability to change the role of the member if he is present. On the other hand, if the member is not present in the workspace so the user can add another one.

The member search feature is under testing, and the company will soon release it. According to Google’s Workspace update, the Member Search option will be released for the web on July 20, 2023. On the other side, for smartphones, this feature will be rolled out on August 7, 2023.

The company also announced that this feature would be available to all Google Workspace customers. This feature is expected to help keep the users connected and not let the distance be felt. And what’s even better is that it makes a broader and more thriving community within the user’s corporation.
