While Rockstar Games have officially announced that they are actually working on the sequel to GTA: V, the company has yet to disclose the name of the video game.
Given the nomenclature pattern of the series, the forthcoming open-world game is likely to be dubbed GTA 6, which is slated to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the following years.
While the company has not announced anything about the game, various leaks and rumors claim to do so. One such theory claims to provide a lot of insight into the next project of Rockstar Games, which includes information on missions, characters, locations, and more.

GTA 6 map, cities, missions and other fresh leaks revealed and analyzed
According to the leak, the studio will disclose additional information about GTA 6 before the end of 2022. GTA 6 is predicted to debut around the end of 2023 or by the spring of 2024, and the game will originally be exclusive to Sony PS5 and the Xbox Series S|X. Similarly, the PC version will appear maybe a year after the first release.

Timeline and character leaks in GTA 6
The leak also claims that the game would take place in South Florida and will be set in the 1980s. There will be three playable characters including two male and a female character. It is also stated that the map of the GTA 6 would be 1.5 times larger than the map of GTA: V.
Maps and cities
The map of GTA 6 is supposed to consist of two cities — Vice City and Cottonmouth along with a few minor settlements from in and around these cities. There will also be a depiction of Everglades, Florida Keys, and Lake Okeechobee in the game. As predicted, the game will take place in the HD Universe.
Missions
GTA 6 is believed to include around 90 primary missions. Interestingly, these missions are reported to be less scripted, which should allow greater flexibility when performing a mission. The players will be able to acquire several properties throughout the city, and there will be also a chance to construct their own criminal empire.
During the debut, the game is believed to include around 400 cars and the company is expected to add more in the following days.
