BMOC tournament in BGMI: Free entry, registration, schedule, format and more

The registration for the first BGMI tournament of 2022, BMOC will commence in the final week of February. In-game qualifying will commence in March, from which a total of 512 teams will qualify for the first round

Of these 512 teams, only 256 will continue on to the second round, which will again vie for 64 positions in round three. These 64 teams will battle once again in BMOC for the 24 berths of the first-ever Pro League (BMPS).

The Pro Series (BMPS) will feature two seasons, each with a hefty prize pool of ₹2 crores. This will be India’s highest prize fund for a single esports tournament. The 24 qualifying teams from BMOC along with a few invited teams will compete in qualifications for the BMPS, after which, only 24 will progress to the next level.

The second round i.e., the league stage of BMPS, will feature these 24 teams participating in a lengthy round-robin style. The top 16 will compete in the Grand Finals.

Shortly after BMPS Season 1, the second season of BGIS will take place. The final important competition of the season will be the BMPS S2.

PUBG Mobile is a gold event at the forthcoming Asian Games 2022. The event will take place from September in Hangzhou, China. A few months earlier, Krafton also confirmed that the Indian squad would be playing in the Asian Games.

Over 60,000 individuals enrolled for BGIS 2021 and Krafton anticipates the BMOC will see even more participation. The rosters of several established clubs have also altered after BGIS. From champion Skylightz and GodLike to fan-favorite Team Soul, everyone’s striving to finalize their lineup before the forthcoming showdown.
