The Chinese firm has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update to the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7T Pro it comes on Android 11-based OxygenOS 11.0.6.1. Oneplus has already confirmed the device list for OxygenOS 12 skin update and soon announced the beta program of Android 12.
The latest OxygenOS 11.0.6.1 carries the Android February 2022 security patch for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series and it also improves system stability. As always, this update will be rolled out via OTA incrementally. Don’t be too concerned if you haven’t yet received it. To check if an update is available, head to Settings > System > System updates on your device.

The community-run Oxygen Updater allows you to sideload official update .zip files as soon as they are available publicly. While this will ensure you get updates right away, if you encounter problems, you may need to revert to an older build. This may require a device reset if problems are major.
