Original Story – February 26th
OnePlus users have been reporting freezes, stutters, and outright crashes while sharing pictures or simply scrolling through the Gallery app. OnePlus has officially addressed the issue in a community forum post and pledged to roll out a fix in a matter of days. Now the company has fixed the issue with a new OTA update for OnePlus Nord, Nord 2, and OnePlus 9R users.
The freezing issues in the Gallery app are weirdly related to the Google Messages app. OnePlus fixes with OxygenOS 11.1.9.9 for Nord, 11.2.8.8 for OnePlus 9R, and OxygenOS A.18 for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G.
